Hi, my name is Ledwin! I am the sport representative of the SPH Sentul PYP student council 2007/2008. I like animals, plants, nature and my hobbies are: sketching, reading and watching the TV. Being a student council member is a lot of fun. We helps the school on making and organizing special events. We have also succeeded on collecting some amount of money on one of our first project which is the choco-gram. There are 11 of us in the student council and we all needed t cooperate together to finish all of our projects. When there were hard things to do, I always remember this motto from our old ex-MYP president and the motto is: "Winners never quit, quitters never win." From that, I have learned to not give up and quit a mission no matter what happens. I will also still try my best to be a good student council member! I know that there will be more challenges ahead, but I will not quit!

Hello everybody!

My name is Zerlinda and I am the President of the PYP Student Council! Being the President isn't all that easy but once you get used to it, it's really fun to do! My jobs in the SC is leading the meeting and creating an article called 'Student of the Week' for the SC board. In meetings, I have to make sure the meeting is under control and no one is left out. To make the 'Student of the Week' article, I have to choose a student from the PYP that stood out from the crowd by doing something worth awarded for. Then, I write about that student and what that student has done. The SC board is updated every two weeks so the PYP students won't get bored with the same articles and two weeks is enough time for the SC to make their articles.

My name is Priska.I am from Grade three. I am 8 years old. My job is public relation.Public relation people need to tell others about what we gonna do.There are two people from public relation, who are Jordaan and me. Jordaan is my class-mate. When we inform student council programs to others , we need to greet by saying goodmorning or good evening and we need to introduce ourself after that we can introduce the programs.Sometimes other student council help us to tell PYP and teachers.

Hi! My name is Kathleen. I am from Grade 4. My job is the art and multimedia of PYP student council. My job is to have ideas for all the art stuff and also in charge of the multimedia. I really like being in this position because I love to do art and also computer. As you know PYP student council has a board that gets to be updated each two weeks or maybe one week. My job in the board to decorate the board and help Tannia to make the borders. I really enjoy being in PYP student council with all my friends.

Introducing the Treasurer !

Hi my name is Allan. I am the treasurer of this Student Council at the year 2007-2008. As the treasurer of the Student Council, I have to count the income or outcome money. I have to be so careful at keeping the money. Being the treasurer of the Student Council is really fun, I enjoy it so far. The work of having this job is not so much, sometimes we don't have projects, so we don't have income or outcome money for sure. I am really scared at keeping the money, especially if the money is lost. My hobby is reading books. In another side, I have another job which is making Movie Review to be posted on the Student Council 2007-2008 Board. It is such an easy job to do, especially if we have internet or we have watched the movie already. We got some another things that are posted on the board, such as music and many more. Being a member of Student Council is really fun and help us to learn more. I love it! I enjoy it so far !

Introducing The Vice President! :)

Hi! I'm Tannia from Grade 6. My position on this year's  PYP Student Council is the Vice President. A Vice President (VP) doesn't really have a specific job but the VP takes over the President's place when the President is not there. For example when the President doesn't come to the meeting to lead the meeting, the VP will then lead the meeting. Isn't that cool? Okay, the VP also do what ever they can do to help the other SC members. Kind huh? 

As you might noticed already, PYP SC has our own board right? It's near the canteen. We all have different jobs to do. My job is to make borders and a title for our board. So if you pass by our board and look at the title or the borders and you think it's really creative, it was ME who made it! :P (sorry, i'm too proud.)

Umm, what else.. Oh! You know, if you're not in SC, you should be jealous. Being in SC is reallllllly FUN! Believe me! ;) Even one of my friend is jealous because she is not in SC. Hahahaha :D

Hi my name is Mandy. I'm in Grade 5. I am the literature for this pyp student council. As the literature my job is to write/type articles, and other things that also connect with writing/typing for the student council. I also have a job on the 'Student Council Updates' board. My job was to write articles about previous events that we(student council) had, but after we didn't have anymore events, I got the job to find then type up jokes for our board.
I have the same hobby as Nichole, which is reading. Although it can be hard to be in the student council sometimes, it has been a great experience for me.

Hi everyone!!! My name is Amanda. I am a grade five student. I am the secretary. A secretary is a person who takes notes about what we discussed in the meeting. My job for the SC board is to stick up what the other SC members have wrote. Becoming a part of SC has been a very good experience for me.

Introducing the Spiritual Leader!

Hi Everyone! My name is Nicole. I am the Spiritual Leader of the Student Council (SC). My job as the Spiritual Leader is to pray at the begining of every meeting. My hobbies are reading, playing badminton, making up my own stories and making up my own songs. Some day, when I grow up, I hope I can be a song composer and write songs about the Lord. For the SC Board, my job is to work on the Book Of The Week. I hope that my articles will encourage and persuade students to read more. But they might not want to read the book in my article but at least they want to read other books. My last article about Book Of The Week was about the book "Madison Finn: Off the Wall". So first I have to, of course, write the title Book Of The Week at the top. After that, I write that it's by me. Then I put a huge picture of the cover of the book. Under the picture, I write a short summary that will persuade other students to read the book. I really enjoy being in the Student Council!
